  • Vintage Sugar & Creamer Set with Tray, Jeannette Glass National Pattern w/Gold Accents, Elegant Servingware, Tableware, Glass Sugar & Creamer, Mid Century, (Discontinued)
  • Made in USA
  • Vintage:  1940's - 1950's
  • Details:  A much beloved pattern from Jeannette Glass, "National" has retained its popularity, we think because of the simplicity of this pattern, however, with the addition of 22kt gold accents, it changes from simple to truly elegant!  The pattern on this sugar, creamer and tray set, features hobbed center circles on the bottom, (some call it Hobnail), with the straight lines of the fluted panels that end up as swirls on the top rim.  The National line was never issued as a complete dinner or luncheon set, only drinkware, servingware and accessory pieces were included.  This sugar and creamer set would make a wonderful bridal shower or wedding gift.  This shipment will be heavy, please keep that in mind at checkout.
  • Material:  Glass
  • Dimensions:  Open Sugar: 2.75 inches in Tall.  Creamer:  3.25 inches Tall.  Tray: 10.0 inches Wide (handle to handle), 8.0 inches in Diameter

Jeannette Bottle Works began producing bottles in the late 1887 in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. In 1889 they expanded production and changed their name to Jeannette Glass Company. They are best known for their Depression Glass, they were one of the seven major companies producing Depression Glass and issued 14 different patterns from 1928 through 1938. During the 1950's Jeannette introduced Cameo Glassware which was their version of Milk Glass. In 1961 Jeannette bought the old McKee plant and continued to produce glassware for both wholesale and retail businesses. In 1970, the company's name changed to Jeannette Corporation. They ceased production and closed the factory in 1983.
